Going to salons for hair color can be expensive, especially for someone with long hair like me. It’s a lot more practical to do it at home.
I’m here to show you how to color your hair easily with the help of L’Oreal Excellence. What’s great about L’Oreal Excellence is that it has Triple Care Color Technology so our hair is still protected while coloring it.
Just some reminders:
- Two days before coloring, do a simple allergy test first. Using a cotton bud, apply the colorant at the back of your ear. If there’s no irritation two days after, then you’re good to go.
- L’Oreal Excellence has tons of shades to choose from so it’ll be easy to find the perfect shade for you. To find which shade complements your skin tone, just look at the color of your veins on your hand. If it’s green, then warm shades like gold, red and copper are best. If it’s blue, go for cool shades like ash and violet. If it’s red, then lucky you, both cool and warm shades look great on you.
Okay, let’s start! Open your box to see the contents -serum, colorant, developer, conditioner, gloves.
Step 1: Apply Protective Pre-color Serum on dry, unwashed hair to condition it and to get an even hair color.
Step 2: Mix colorant and developer. You can either use comb or applicator tip. If you have straight, mid-length hair, use the comb. If you have short hair, use the tip. Make sure to shake it thoroughly.
Step 3: Section your hair then color it starting from the root to the tip. Leave for 30 minutes then rinse.
Step 4: Apply the protective conditioner.
Step 5: Leave on for 2 minutes then rinse.
That’s it! Now you have shinier, glossier hair that’s soft and healthy, all thanks to L’Oreal Excellence. 🙂 Check out my tutorial video-
