Singapore is undoubtedly one of the most popular Asian destinations. It’s been years since I last visited the lion city so when my friend invited me to fly with her, I quickly checked my schedule. I was free on those dates so I booked right away.
Upon landing, I was greeted by the beautiful Changi Airport. This airport just keeps getting bigger and better. It’s a destination in itself, with all the shopping and eating you can do.
Singapore is still clean and charming with its balance of the old and the new. This picture says it all.
Since I only had a short time in the city, I spent it exploring the tourist destination Marina Bay.
Marina Bay is a mix of commercial, residential, hotel and entertainment.
Could you even believe this is a mall? This is The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.
I checked out the ArtScience Museum also located at Marina Bay Sands. Its current exhibit is Future World, where Art Meets Science.
Future World is an exhibit where art, science and technology meet, realising Leonardo da Vinci’s famous maxim, “everything connects”.
Thanks for the wonderful time, Singapore! Hope to be back soon to explore some more.
