Strip & Browhaus Founder and CEO Cynthia Chua flew all the way from Singapore recently to talk about her brands’ beginnings and reveal this exciting plan.
Cynthia is one inspiring Girl Boss. The year 2002 saw her handing out leaflets in groceries in hopes of spreading word about Brazilian waxing. Fast-forward to this day, Spa Esprit Group’s Cynthia Chua is relentless in continuously innovating and growing her brands. She already has 16 brands under her wing, which includes Strip and Browhaus.
Cynthia, armed with her dedication in providing safe, hygienic, and painless waxing services, started the wax revolution. She experimented with new waxes and created a brand that will set the standards for waxing in Singapore. Strip stands by its “No Double Dipping,” commitment and their HSQ mantra – Hygiene, Speed, and Quality.
In 2004, Cynthia realized the need to deal with brow grooming, thus Browhaus came to being. This one-stop brow and lash grooming salon is another innovation of Cynthia, who created bold eyebrows and lashes using traditional methods and semi-permanent technology.
Being an innovator at heart, Cynthia announced that they would soon release the Strip and Browhaus loyalty plus cards.
These loyalty cards are not your ordinary store rewards cards. What sets them apart is that you can load money and use these either as debit or as an ATM card. It acts as a “wallet,” while allowing you to earn points that you can use to pay for services at any Strip and Browhaus branch.
A minimum purchase of P200 in any Strip and Browhaus branch lets you earn one point, while a minimum purchase of P300 is required at other stores for you to earn a point.
